WEATHER- ITS USUALLY VERY HOT, HUMID or DRYYYY HERE ON ST THOMAS, USVI. OF ALL THE CARRIBEAN ISLANDS, WE GET THE LEAST AMOUNT OF AVERAGE RAINFALL EACH YEAR. INFACT YOU MAY SEE CACTUS ALL OVER THE ISLAND…THEY GROW WELL HERE DUE TO LACK OF RAIN! BUT IN THE OCCASION WE GET RAINFALL, VIRGIN VIEW VILLAS HAS A FEW SUGGESTIONS ON THINGS TO DO! WE LOVE THESE RAINY DAYS! THE PLANTS DRINK UP, THE LAND ANIMALS COME OUT AND THERE’S STILL LOTS TO DO HERE ON THESE ‘SNOW’ DAYS.

PIRATES TREASURE MUSEUM
A family friendly museum that helps you practice your “walk the plank” skills. Their hours of operation follows the cruiship schedule so call ahead, click on the link below, or “wing it!” 340-775-9575
Tickets: Adults $16, Children $12, kids under 6 are FREE TIP: Park nextdoor at the TRAM way parking lot. Don’t forget to pick up a unique PIRATE’s historical coin!
PHANTASEA BOTANICAL GARDEN

A truly magical place to learn about the flora & fauna in the Caribbean. Walk into a diffeent, lush and magnificient world full of color, aromas and textures,The Gardens at Phantasea Tropical Botanical Garden have been under construction for over 20 years. They began as one woman’s vision (Patsy) to create a true botanical garden for the residents of St. Thomas as well as visitors from around the world. They opened to the public on Feb. 7, 2015. Future plans include facilities rental, Massage Pavilion, Guest Cottages

There is no better way to spend a rainy day than to give back to the local community you are visting! In this case, the furry community! Visit the local Humane Society Shelter and help volunteer much needed hours on a rainy day. Walk or jog dogs, play with kittens, social with cats, cuddle with bunnies and puppies! Or even take a gander at the mountain of books at the Thrift store offered. You never know what hidden treasures you will find. Every penny is given to the animals.
